The Early Beginnings: As the founder of Uqalelo Designs starts in the humble beginnings of this extraordinary furniture manufacturing venture. Over a decade ago, armed with a passion for design and a fervent desire to create beauty from raw materials, I have embarked on a path that would shape my career to what is today. I have started with rudimentary tools and a vision in mind, the discipline to working hard to refine my skills, pushing boundaries and exploring new techniques and technology.

Our services are orientated around kitchen design and bespoke furniture designing and manufacturing. We mainly focus on providing our customers with quality craftsmanship. Our founder have over 10 years of industry related experience and an immense passion for designing furniture, building stylish built-in cupboards and crafting one of a kind furniture pieces.

Our company is based in Mthatha, but we offer our services to the greater eastern and northern area of the Eastern Cape area, working in all of the small towns surrounding the region Uqalelo works on projects of all sizes and all complexities. Our approach is to offer customers an affordable service yet profitable to business and we have earned a reputation for successfully completing all type of projects in woodworking industry, whether they are simple or complex, while effectively catering to any budget.
